Der Mord is a solo project by Yannick Franck (Raum, MT Gemini, Orphan Swords, Figure Section), he has recently shared the bill with Belgian electronic body music legends Front 242.
The project's signature existential synthpop plunges into dreamlike realms, where disjointed lyrics free-associate through personal turmoil, dark irony, and raw contemplation.
Recorded deep in the wilds of Scandinavia at Cat Crossing Studio, Der Mord's sepulcral debut LP Northern Skies is out now on Antibody label.
