DER MORD is an electronic music project by Yannick Franck (Raum, MT Gemini, Orphan Swords, Figure Section), often accompanied by his accomplice Cédric Dambrain (Porz Am Park, Bambi OFS, Ictus Ensemble). Albeit certain of Der Mord's always unforeseen utterances have been coined meta-Industrial, Electronic Body Music or even No Wave, it is characterized by its disregard of stylistic limitations, blending various vocal techniques, abrasive beats, gritty basslines and walls of noise into an often confronting yet enthralling whole.

Der Mord is driven by a reflexion on the murder of reality in the virtual age and conceived as a personal act of resilience, through the ritualistic celebration of raw music and vocals as primal living expressions.
